AAI, HAL, OIL among firms on PSU panel’s list for examination in FY21

The Committee on community undertakings has picked the Airports Authority of India (AAI), Hindustan Aeronautics Restricted (HAL), Oil India Ltd, among other individuals, for evaluation during the year 2020-21, according to a release by the Lok Sabha secretariat.

The Committee on Community Undertakings satisfied on July 29 and picked 11 topics for a detailed evaluation. This features AAI, Central Coalfields Restricted (CCL), Food Company of India (FCI), NBCC (India) Restricted, National Fertilizers Restricted (NFL), Oil India Ltd., Bharat Weighty Electricals Restricted (BHEL), Hindustan Aeronautics Restricted (HAL), National Thermal Electrical power Company Restricted (NTPC), Hindustan Antibiotics Restricted and IRCON Global Restricted.

For Horizontal Study, the Committee will assessment of the functionality of Community Sector Insurance policy Organizations, functionality under CSR by Electrical power Sector CPSUs, functionality under CSR by Coal Sector CPSUs, Corporate Governance in CPSUs, Overview of Overall performance of Metal Sector CPSUs, Overview of Overall performance of CPSUs in Health Sector, Enhancement and Output of Bio-gas/Bio-diesel by CPSUs and Analysis of Exploration & Enhancement (R & D) functions of Maharatna CPSUs.

Five audit-centered reviews such as these linked to the Operational Overall performance of NMDC Restricted will also be examined.
