Mexican Church, Leader Sued in Los Angeles on Sexual Abuse Allegations
LOS ANGELES—A girl who claimed she was sexually abused and trafficked submitted a lawsuit in federal court right here Wednesday in opposition to La Luz del Mundo, a person of the premier religious businesses in Mexico, and its chief, Naasón Joaquín García.
Mr. García was arrested in Los Angeles final year and billed with extra than a dozen sex crimes, like rape, human trafficking and youngster pornography. He has pleaded not guilty.
