Ryanair launches first buy one get one free sale

Ryanair has introduced its first “purchase 1, get 1 no cost” sale in a bid to boost flagging passenger figures.

Clients who book a flight just before midnight on Thursday for vacation up to December 14 on 1,600 routes will get a next ticket at no further expense.

The move follows the airline’s selection to further reduce functions owing to coronavirus vacation limits.

Its potential in October will be 40pc of 2019 levels, in contrast with the 50pc it previously announced.

Ryanair chief government Michael O’Leary explained need for potential bookings was terrible.

“Into November and December our ahead bookings are jogging at close to 10pc – that’s about a quarter of exactly where they would usually be at this time of the calendar year,” he advised Sky Information.

“We can not rule out career losses but in Ryanair we’re surely desperately performing with our folks to stop them.”
