Two firefighters dead in gas well blowout blaze in Assam, says Oil India

PSU major Oil India on Wednesday claimed two of its firefighters died at the site of a major blaze at its Baghjan effectively, which has been spewing gas uncontrollably for the final fifteen days in Assam’s Tinsukia district.

The two firefighters experienced absent missing right after the effectively caught fireplace on Tuesday and their bodies ended up recovered by an NDRF workforce this early morning, Oil India Spokesperson Tridiv Hazarika explained to PTI.

The duo has been recognized as Durlov Gogoi and Tikeswar Gohain, both assistant operators of the fireplace support section of the corporation, the formal claimed.
